Trouble

It’s a crazy world we live in. A crazy life we lead
And the troubles that we face each day to get just what we need
I find are easier to handle, much faster to proceed
When I remember words of wisdom that my folks passed down to me

Never pay the workman until the work is through
Never draw conclusions when you haven’t got a clue
Never use a pound when half a pound will do
And never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you

Well the chaos and confusion that we pass along the way
Tends to build the wanton memories that worry us each day
Don’t forget that the objective is to smile, sing and play
And recall those words of wisdom that I sing to you today
